This month, QOL's own Jim Turner and Mike Calello will attend the NEOCON even in Chicago. The convention will run from June 13 to 15, and has been a significant commercial design show for nearly 50 years, according to the official event site. Jim and Mike will join the group of around 50,000 other professionals who come to learn about the industry and contribute to it in a positive way.
The full list of NEOCON events includes seminars, keynote speeches, workshops and student programs, tackling different aspects of design. The workshop listed on the site, "Understanding the WELL Building Standard," will help promote education about this list of building criteria, as various building professionals and owners learn about health-conscious construction.
Each day of the conference will feature a different keynote speaker from some organization involved with design. Paul Scialla, the founder of the International WELL Being Institute, will launch the event with a Monday speech. The other two speakers are David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group and Oana Stanescu of Family, an architecture studio.
In a February press release, NEOCON's director of programming, Monica DeBartolo, expressed enthusiasm for this year's lineup.
"As the premier platform and forum for the commercial interiors business, NeoCon has enjoyed hosting the industry's top thought leaders and movers-and-shakers," DeBartolo said. "We are excited to welcome Paul Scialla, David Rockwell, and Oana Stanescu to the NeoCon stage this year, as we highlight all the things that good design can help people and organizations achieve."
QOL is committed to observing the latest industry trends and developing good business relationships to stay on the cutting edge. As a Bay Area new and used office furniture provider, we keep up with the most important factors steering design.
