The CEO of furniture company Herman Miller Inc., Brian Walker, spoke to the source about the general patterns that are encouraging strong performance for furniture producers. He also referenced some of the ways that new economic trends have impacted furniture business decisions for the future.

“The industry is in a pretty healthy spot right now from a demand perspective,” he said. “I think that’s because we finally have a period where — while the economy hasn’t been super robust in the recovery — there’s been enough length that companies are doing well and investing in their facilities.”
